BOARDGAMES

Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday morning in the hall between 10.30 and 12.30
Come and play scrabble, rummikub and other games, or bring your crossword or knitting. Or just drop in for a cuppa and a chat.

Poetry group

1st Tuesday of each month in the hall, 2-4pm
An informal group, held together by a simple practice of having themes, and usually one particular poet, agreed between us in advance. We read in turn around the circle and share our reflections and love of poetry.

MINDFULNESS @ Lunchtime

2nd Tuesday of each month in the church and hall, 12.30-2pm
A chance to practise sitting meditation, walking meditation and mindful eating with others. Bring some simple food to share, such as bread, fruit or cheese.

Oasis of Calm

1st Wednesday of each month in the church, 1-1.45pm
Take time out to sit quietly, enjoy some silence, tranquil music and contemplative readings. Only have a few minutes to spare? Don’t worry – stay for as long as you wish. We won’t disturb your private reflections, but will be pleased to talk with you if you desire.

Green Team

3rd Wednesday of each month in the vestry, 12-1pm
We work towards making our church more eco-friendly and also take part in local and national environmental campaigns. We have already received our Bronze Eco Church Award and are working towards gaining silver in 2022.

Heart & Soul GATHERINGS

4th Thursday of most months on Zoom, 7.30-8.30pm
A contemplative and prayerful gathering on a theme. Come and share silence, candle lighting, words and music.

SinGALONGS

Occasional afternoons in the church
An opportunity to sing your favourite hymns and enjoy company, tea and biscuits.
